4 Ways To Dream Bigger

4 Ways You Can Invite Your Imagination to Dream Bigger
1. Ask questions. What do you want more of? What is your heart’s desire? What would an ideal day look like two (or ten or twenty) years from now? Who would you be hanging out with? As the answers come forward, make note of how they FEEL as that is a key indicator of your core alignment with what’s right for you. For example, you might see yourself on your yacht but if you tend to get seasick, that would be a fantasy vs. a dream.
2. Write your future bio in 100 words. Who will you be? What will you be known for? Who will you empower through your work? What will people say about you? The written word is one of the fastest ways to bring in big dreams.
3. Look at your ‘bucket list’. Consider the things you feel would make your life successful (the things you would be, do and have before you ‘kick the bucket’) and write them on a list. Pick the top three and savor them coming into sharper view in your mind’s eye. Notice the details and how you feel about what you’re seeing. If it feels right, take a few notes or record your impressions with a digital recorder so you can recall your dreams easier.
4. Work the 80/20 principle. The Pareto Principle states that 80% of our results come from a critical 20% of initiative. Consider the 20% of your life that feels happiest, most satisfying and joyful to use as a dreaming compass; then contrast that with the majority of what you find yourself doing most days. The idea is to put more energy behind what feels good vs. staying stuck in the constraints of routine. What would be possible if you could get rid of (or leave behind) the 80% that doesn’t feel great and spend it instead expanding the 20% that feels great?

Stop Existing, Start Living...Here's How!

Here are Three Ways To Stop Existing and Start Living Today!

1. Find your purpose

Whether we believe it or not, we all were put on this earth for a reason. Finding yours will be one of the first steps toward making big changes in your life.
Think about the things you’re good at, the things that you feel passionate about, the things that you enjoy most and get the most satisfaction from doing. These things might be key to what will make you happy and give you a life that feels fulfilling.

2. One step at a time

But remember that taking action is the vital key to the equation.
If you dream of something bigger, it’s not likely it will come to you. You will have to go out and get it. It takes hard work.

3. Surprise yourself

One of the best ways to jolt yourself out of a disappointing life is to do something completely different.
Even if you think you might be terrible at it, give something new a go.

5 Ways To Treat Yourself Today!

5 Ways To Treat Yourself!

  1. Give yourself the gift of taking your dreams seriously. Write down five key life goals that you want to achieve over the next year or so, and the steps needed to achieve them.
  2. Take a nap. So many of us are sleep-deprived, so 20 minutes spent napping in the afternoon may be just the refreshment you need.
  3. Make yourself an uplifting playlist containing all your favourite songs, and listen to it several times.
  4. Buy some new bedlinen, or at least change your sheets. It will make you feel nice and relaxed at bedtime.
  5. Avoid toxic influences. Do you suspect that a certain co-worker, relative or even ‘friend’ just depresses you or gets you down with their negative attitude? Try to spend less time with them.

3 Ways To Eliminate Self Doubt

1. Get Comfortable With The Physical Sensations Of Fear.
Your brain shuts down when your body goes into fight or flight mode. You want to get comfortable with the physical sensations of fear so that you can learn to manage them. Get comfortable with clammy hands, your nervous twitch, your shallow breaths, your increased speed of speech. It’s normal.

2. Enhance Your Self-Image.
Stop replaying your past failures. There’s nothing you can do to change them. Instead recall, your past success and remember what that felt like.
Anytime you catch yourself, recalling past failures, cut it.

3. Breathe Deeply Through Your Nose and Out Through Your Mouth.
When you are scared, your breath becomes rapid and shallow. Train yourself to take deep, strong, breaths. A 3 second inhale with a 2 second hold, followed by a 3 second exhale works wonders.

5 Ways To Improve Your Self Image

1. Be empathetic. Learn how others feel and consider where they are coming from before criticizing or passing judgment. Even if you can't feel for everyone you meet, be certain that you feel with every living thing you encounter. It's the key to positive self-awareness.
2. Give of yourself. Spend time listening to and giving encouragement to someone else. Treat people like brothers and sisters. Provide value to someone through a kind act or gentle word. Make a contribution to someone or something for which there is no direct payoff. Share your talents with those around you.
3. Introduce yourself to a stranger who looks lost, confused or alone. You will be viewed as a savior. When you are in a group and feel uncomfortable, rest assured that there are others in the group who feel the same way. Get a conversation going with someone else. People love to tell you about themselves. Everyone yearns to be included and accepted. The best way to get acceptance is to give it.
4. See problems as opportunities. Make a list of your most pressing problems. Write a one-sentence definition of the problem. Now rewrite the problem, only this time view it as an opportunity or exercise to challenge your creative ingenuity. View the situation as if you were advising your best friend.
5. Learn to stay relaxed and friendly no matter how much tension you’re under. Instead of griping, single out something or someone to praise. When tension or anxiety is present in a room, lower the pitch and tone of your voice, breathe slowly and deeply, sit back and relax your muscles, and respond calmly.
